Rocky Mountain Towing and Recovery recently received a call from a customer requesting a heavy duty tow truck. The call came from a truck driver who found himself in a predicament and needed the help of a reliable tow company and a heavy duty tow truck. The driver was located in a parking lot in Centennial, Colorado.
Upon receiving the call, the Rocky Mountain Towing and Recovery dispatcher asked for all the details of the heavy duty tow truck request. The driver explained that he was stuck in a parking lot where he was meant to deliver products. The tractor trailer was filled with fast food products for delivery in Centennial.
Because of the cold and icy weather in Colorado at the time, the driver had slid on the ice and into a light pole. His truck ended up lifted off the pole. He was unable to move and needed the assistance of a heavy duty tow truck.
The RM heavy duty tow truck driver was dispatched from their headquarters at 10371 E. 106th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601. He drove south to Centennial and took the E470 S. The heavy duty tow truck and driver from RM Towing arrived at the scene in under an hour.
Once they arrived at the parking lot, the heavy duty tow truck driver assessed the situation before beginning the job. He noticed that police had also responded and was at the scene. The police officer mentioned that there are often issues caused by ice at this location.
The affected trailer had a relatively light load, but unfortunately, there was some damage to the trailer. The RM heavy duty tow truck driver would need to use the heavy duty tow truck to tow the trailer back to the warehouse.
Once he decided on the best course of action, the heavy duty tow truck driver connected winch lines and lifted the trailer back onto the roadway. Using his heavy-duty wrecker, he towed the trailer back to the warehouse so that he could receive repairs.
